She was introduced to her first Norfolk Terrier in 1974 when she used to ride the thoroughbred racehorses at Munich racecourse. The trainer at the stable had a Norfolk Terrier dog from Alice Hazeldine, Ickworth Sandstorm. In 1975 a bitch puppy, also from Alice, arrived at the stables and she was later given to Frauke. Ickworth Penny HaPenny was her name, her first litter was born in 1976 and she is behind a lot of the Norfolks from Fraukes kennel.
After a while Frauke imported Ch. Cracknor Candidate from England, Ch.Chidley Magic Carpet from the USA, Ch.Guestlings Catch Me from Sweden, Ch.Yarrows Henley, USA, (a son of Ch. Nanfan Caper) and quite a few others who all played their part in building up her own line.
Norfolks from the Allright kennel have emigrated to many countries, especially North America, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Britain and have become successful show dogs and have influenced the breed as brood bitches or stud dogs.
The famous sire Ch.Allright Gimcrack, son of Ch.Yarrows Henley, has produced a lot of champions in many countries including Ch. Allright Magic Trapper (Owner:Cathy Thompson), the first foreign-bred British champion and now Top Stud Dog 2002 and sire of our Top Winner 2002.
Allrights latest arrivals as visiting stud dogs are World Junior Winner Elve Valkaria and Crufts BOB 2002 Ch.Belleville Smart Alec.
Since her first litter in 1976 Frauke has bred over 110 champions, 11 Worldwinners plus 3 more at the World Show at Dortmund this May.
In 1991 Frauke got her judging licence for short-legged terriers and she has judged in many countries, including in 1996 the Norwich and Norfolk Terrier Club 60th Anniversary at Montgomery, the USAs biggest terrier show.
